Law of Attraction: Positive Vibes and Dreams

You attract what you thinkΒ – do you believe in that?

Lately I’ve been watching YouTube videos and reading blogs about the law of attraction. That means that we attract things into our life based on what we focus on. Think negatively and receive negativity. Think positively and receive positivity.

I have only started to be more mindful of my thoughts and the vibes I project into the world. I notice that I’m usually reserved. I look down when I pass by people to avoid eye contact. I most likely have a resting bitch face. I’m awkward; so most times my arms are crossed. Most importantly, I would never go out of my way for something I wanted. I just expect things to come to me. Most times I never get what I want.
I think I know why now…

I cannot wait for life to hand me the things I want. Life doesn’t work that way. So I learned to stop waiting. If I want something, I’m going to need to step up and go get it. This is one of the reasons I started Moonlight Thoughts. I promised myself to start investing in me. I am now trying to project the things I want into my life and hoping in return I will start to receive them.

We are in this together. Here are some steps you can take to attract what you want out of life:

  1. Start thinking positive thoughts
    Think and dream of all that you want. When you start to see yourself living the dreams you desire, you will start to become then. I think this is the first test of the universe to see if you can and truly want all that you dream of.
  2. Release negativity
    Do not dwell on negativity. This gets you no where. This only brings you down. Every time you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts correct it with some positives. This also includes negative people in your life. Let them go for they do not benefit you.
  3. Self love
    Love yourself continuously. You cannot go far in life, your dreams, or your goals if you do not posses the love for yourself. Feed your mind with happy, positive thoughts. Feed your soul with the things that are fulfilling. Feed your body nutritious food that nourishes your health. It all begins with you.
  4. Continue to dream
    Dream, dream, dream. I hope you never stop dreaming about the things that you want. I hope you continue to be hopeful. I hope you never give up. I am a firm believer that when times get tough that means you are on the verge of achieving and truly living your dream. This is the universe testing your will. So march on through the hard times through the storm because on the other side is a rainbow and sunny day waiting.
